CHARGER9AUTO 3 #1 Posted May 12, 2008 I over tightened the bolt to the timing gear gear cover and snaped the head off so my Dad drilled it out and retaped with new threads I'd put a shorter bolt with a washer behind it . I hate when that happends . I parked the 1045 back in the Garage . and worked on my '79 C-121 AUTOMATIC I will take to the show with the 8 HP 4-Speed . I put another brake band on the tractor because the brake lining was worn and loose I'd took one off a C-111 parts Horse that worked on the C-121 and put the worn out one on another parts tractor C-111 . I removed the 23x8.50-12 rear wheels and put the 23x8.50-12 CHENG - SHIN AG's on the rear of the AUTOMATIC . Ben
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #2 Posted May 12, 2008 Sounds like progress, of a sort ! Keep up the good work! Progress is better than no progress I am having some mower deck issues that took up my weekend. I am 90% sure all is well but still need to replace the belt that go destroyed (it was only a fractional HP test belt anyway). So I made progress too, just not as much as I had hoped! Have fun
