repairman 7 #1 Posted February 6, 2011 for the years listed above is there any differences in hood length or height on bronco or raider 14 and no name tractors of this time frame are they the same frame and hoods ?
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted February 6, 2011 The Bronco 14 and Raider 14 used the same hood - as did many of the 1970 to 1978 (and a few newer) models. Some of the newer hoods were not drilled for hood ornaments, but that's easily taken care of. There were small variations in frames, but many of them will interchange as long as they're the correct length. The big difference is the addition of the Attach-Matic front hitch on the 1972 & newer models.
repairman 7 #3 Posted February 6, 2011 so then these tractors including the no names would accommodate any k-series engine size from 8-14 hp without hood mods?
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #4 Posted February 6, 2011 NO. Measure the wheelbase of your tractor. If it's 43.5" or 45.5", then you can install an engine larger than 8hp.
