dandan111 31 #1 Posted February 4, 2011 Hey guys, lost the tire on my 654 round hood. The dry rot gave way and I have a 10 inch rip with the tube hanging out. My tires are the snow type, do any of you guys have a good place to buy them? I will switch to ag tires if I have to but like the snow tires best. I plow lots of sidewalks here in town and not sure if the ags will be as effective as snow tires with chains on the concrete. Where do you guys buy from and how much should they cost? thanks Danny
Kelly 1,033 #2 Posted February 4, 2011 New 6.00x12 snow type tires are getting hard to find, I heard they quit making them, but I've seen them on ebay from time to time, new that is, they ran about $100 each.

Then after that call Miller Tire in Ohio @419-335-7010 they show them on their web site but don't have the price listed for them. sorekiwi 761 #14 Posted February 4, 2011 My last 2 orders of tires have come from Tires Unlimited: http://www.tiresunlimited.com/default.htm They have free shipping on orders of $75.00 or more. I have seen the old "Snow Tread" tires that I think you are talking about in the Miller catalog. Daveoman had a (used) pair he was trying to sell a while back, it might be worth a PM.
