racinfool40 202 #1 Posted January 31, 2011 :thumbs: Ok I've been looking for a k-141-161 for a 604 project tractor I'm working on. Found a couple of motors but all the owners say they have no spark and need new magnito's or Ignitions..Ok so after searching every site I know and all the site's here, found one place Jacks small engines. He list the part# as 4775520s?? Is this what I need or is there another source??? TT-(Moderator) 1,156 #2 Posted January 31, 2011 Unfortunately, there were at least three (that I can think of) different magneto configurations used on K141/161/181 engines. You would have to know exactly which one you're dealing with before searching for a replacement coil. The newest version that was used on K161/181 engines on Troy-Bilt tillers, B-60 Wheel Horses, etc., are much easier to find, or.......... if you can get you hands on all of the associated parts, you can change the older engines over to the newer style ignition.
