sorekiwi 761 #3 Posted January 28, 2011 Some guys put weights on the front wheels, or load the tires. I've never done either so I cant tell you how effective it is. I use tri-ribs on the front of my 1276, and it was a night and day difference. The steering actually got lighter, but the tractor turns a whole lot better than it did with the slightly wider turfs. Another thing I havent tried is the roller chain around the circumference of the front tire. There are a couple of threads on it here, and the guys that have done it swear by it. buckeye 5 #4 Posted January 28, 2011 you could sit on they hood while he plows he could put fron wheel weights on it, if he can find them. maybe buy some ribbed tires. or go the cheapest route and do the #40 roller chain trick.
