rob65 0 #1 Posted January 26, 2011 I recently sold my D-180 to make room in my shed for a loader/backhoe. That deal fell through unfortunately due to a messy divorce situation. (price doubled when the better half found out he was selling it). Thus leaving me with nothing to clear my driveway with. I found this machine on CL only a couple miles from my home. It really is in good shape. It does need a starter (previous post). I jiggle the wire and keep cranking her untill it catches. I hope the ring gear is'nt trashed. Seems very sound otherwise, engine purrs! No leaks anywhere. I am searching for a plow/weights & chains. Maybe I'll get to use her next year. I paid $450.00 for the machine with the mower deck. http://s1137.photobucket.com/albums/n520/thecrawman/

dgoyette 12 #7 Posted January 26, 2011 Super Rob! That looks like a very nice 312-8. You are going to like it. Sorry the other deal did not work out as planned. You can find wheel weights on E-bay (set on there right now up to $136) but expect to pay $125-$175 if you want a nice set of cast iron Wheel Horse weights. Congrats on the find...seems like a real good deal!
dgoyette 12 #8 Posted January 26, 2011 Rob, You might try giving these guys a call...bookmarked this page a while back thinking I would give them a shout next time I needed a starter http://www.nations-starter.com/kohler-starters.html They might be able to tell you an alternative.
