Pic's of the "other side" of the Shop

Recommended Posts

Here are a few pics of the "other side" of the shop, it is a mess right now, but in the spring they will all be cleaned up, and the other stuff taken to the dump! It doesn't show in the pics, but it is twice as much room as the other side that has the "D" and the Workhorse in it.

Cool little 855

it is a mess right now

I can't say that's a nice clean shop........but don't bite my head off yet OK? :hide: I grew up in a shop exactly like that except the walls were not as nice. And there were lots of huge Norwegian Brown rats running around........But (as I said: don't bite my head off!) I loved every minute of it! Even the skinned shins and the times I tripped over stuff and fell on my ass looking for some stupid part for my dad. The smell of rotting grass under the mower decks, the odor of dog crap squished into turf tires and the stink of grease and old oil still permeate my soul!

The baking soda on the bench, the old lamp, the half of an old leaf rake, the car ramps, the computer screen (well, maybe not the computer screen) the snot rags, the starting fluid, the 50 foot reel tape the girly mags and 1/2 empty starting fluid cans.......the clock that don't work, rags, coffee cups........well, you get my point.

It sure brings back memories.......................................specially when I used to sneak (what's her name) in on weekend nights to look for my dads stash of "Jack" (next to the weed killer) and show her my latest 'project!' :banghead: ..........................:D:ROTF:

Haha!...great it brings back memories for you! I had no father growing up on the 550 acre farm, just my 4 sisters and 4 brothers and my Mom, but I do remember going to the barn and working on tractors, and my little Honda Trail 50 lol! never had rats, but had hundreds of cats around (seemed that many!) and 2 or 3 mutts. Ahhh...the younger days, when things were so simple!

Yee-Haa! I wish I had a shop area like that. And I wouldn't call that messy, I'd call it being used correctly.

I don't have as many tractors or tools, or as much room (28x36) in my garage, but I think your looks neater than mine. :banghead:
