TT

Although you didn't specify which brand, it really doesn't make a difference.

I feel safe to say that it wouldn't work with any of them.

It will not fit!! you might stuff it in the block but you will never get anything to bolt up.

unfortunatlly there are no options for the 8hp kohlers, but

there is for the 10-18 hp singles there are parts to do

whatever you want, steel stroker cranks heads blocks cams

valves see midwest super cub, vogel manufacturing,

lakota racing, zack kerber, and many others making

parts and engines with lots of reliable hp. I have

several in pulling tractors that make good hp numbers

and will sing 6000-9000 rpm and are very reliable

(several championships to prove it) you can do

what it takes time, patients, inginuity, and most of all

a healthy wallet.

yes it would but there would be no gain

because they are the same stroke also

the 16 has heavier counter weights on

the crank to counter act the larger

piston of the 16 and your balance

would be off unless you rebalanced

it

I may have missed the application for this but if you go to a Honda (GX200) or Blue/Yellow Clone 6.5hp, the sky is almost the limit on what can be attained. Go Kart racers are reaching darn near 8000 rpm and 20hp out of them. :banghead:
