I am getting a loader for a wheel horse tractor I am just wondering which tractor to put it on its coming on a raider 10 that I

Seems like an easy install would be the 416-8. You'd have to do some fab work for the GT-14, unless you like to do fab work... :banghead:

The GT-14 is a whole different animal than the normal :banghead: tractor. I think trying to make it an 8 speed would take some work.

fab work dont mind me and an 8 speed wouldnt be to hard i can make a couplke mounts but im just curious witch would be a tougher tractor i am getting the gt 14 on saturday maybe ill have to look at it when i get it

Congrats on the loader and the 416 gets my vote! :banghead: Why would you part out a perfectly good tractor just because you don't like the engine it has? :thumbs::ROTF::hide: I'd say your gonna hear more about this.....

Personally I'd keep the loader on the Raider, but swap out the Tecumseh for a Kohler.

And the Raider already has the 8 speed.

:banghead: HI, The gt14 is a heavy built tractor and It has a better

bearing system on front wheels (tapered roller bearings) I am

presently building a loader for my gt-14. I don't really see a problem

with it being a hydro. If you go to 8 speed you'll lose your hydraulic

mid lift and also lift for a 3 point hitch. :thumbs:
