Operator 7 #1 Posted January 18, 2011 I seen it once but I can not find it again, A C- styled tractor but the hyd. lift lever was inside the console instead of on the outside left, A more cleaned up version. I have been looking through picture file but can't seem to locate it. I'm thinking a project here . And what is the difference between a Bronco and a Raider? Frame length? Thanks, Randy
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted January 18, 2011 The second generation C series (number ending in 1) had the wide hoodstand. Look for 1978/79 models in the gallery. Broncos are automatic & Raiders are gear drive. Wheel base is the same, as is most of the sheetmetal, etc.
Operator 7 #3 Posted January 18, 2011 Thanks TT I went there to check them out, look for the extra "1" huh? C-16"1". And thanks for the Raider/Bronco explanation. Randy
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #4 Posted January 18, 2011 Yep - C-81/111/101/121/141/161 and a few of the oddball models like the SK-486, GT-2500 (Anniversary Special), 1100 Special, etc.
jusjeepn 59 #5 Posted January 18, 2011 Don't forget a few 73 autos had it too!
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #6 Posted January 18, 2011 Don't forget a few 73 autos had it too! The DCL was in the center of the "console" on most of them, but the hydraulic lift valve was on the outside. To clarify - the hydro models of that generation/style were C-121/141/161 only.

Operator 7 #10 Posted January 19, 2011 Thanks Guys! I had a C-160 then traded it off, now I miss it and want to find another one styled like those, but I seen the "hidden" valve and liked that. So now I now what to look for! "Project Tractor" Randy
