cpete1 331 #1 Posted January 18, 2011 Just wondering, what was the purpose of having the drawbar (hitch) be able to turn some. Any cart or wagon would have some flexibilty on its own, There must have been a specific reason why they designed the hitch that way. Anybody have a thought about it ? TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted January 18, 2011 You're referring to the up & down movement? It comes from weight & wear. New drawbar hitches are actually pretty solid, but still have enough give to allow removal and installation of the pin.

Don1977 604 #4 Posted January 19, 2011 I would leave like it is unless your building a Show Tractor. If you use it with a trailer and cross a ditch or two it will be back like it is now. Mine is bent to where it moves about 20 degrees.
