I need some help with my dads 1976 C-160 do any of you have a wiring diagram for this tractor?

Rod, this one's for 1975 C-120 / C-160 models, but should be similar. :whistle:

If your 160 has the hour meter, there is also a wire (yellow I think) that goes from a double wire spade connector on the bottom terminal of the headlight switch, to the hour meter. It's the same terminal that has the red (fused) lead from the ignition switch to the light switch.

On the neg side of the hour meter, there is a ground wire that usually just jumps to the hourmeter bracket. I don't like that set-up, and run the ground wire to the lower dash tower, where nobody ever sees it, but it always has a good ground.

A good way to burn out an hourmeter is for it to have a weak ground, like when those 4 bolts come loose, or you have the panel removed for service.
