Another D-160

Recommended Posts

Pollack Pete

The squaw and I took a short road trip testerday and came home with another D-160.It has an Onan twin.I haven't got it running yet.The starter is broken off the block for some reason?? Check out the classy weight box.Previous owner wanted to make sure it stayed put.He welded it on.Gonna be grinder time to get it off.Enjoy the pics.

That is some creative engineering on that weight box. Looks like a solid D.

Is the weight box empty? Or does it have some concrete poured in it?

Nice tractor, I just picked up a 1980 D-160 a couple months ago.

Good luck with it.

Nope.....weight box is empty.Looks like maybe previous owner could have filled it with old brake rotors, drums, etc.I'm sure if it were filled with concrete,it wouldn't be called a Wheel Horse any more.....it would be a Wheelie-Horse......HA HA.....
