mattd860 162 #1 Posted January 13, 2011 I hope you're not all tired of seeing snow removal pictures yet I spent about 7 hours today moving snow with the 418-8 so I think I deserve to post of few pictures of my work. I made a big mistake by not getting up very early in the morning to plow. Instead I woke up late and didn't start plowing until 8pm. Unfortunately by then we had close to 20" of snow by then so I barely made it out of the garage. After switching to the thrower and ironing out a few kinks (remove thrower side wings, add rear weight) I was off and nothing got in my way. This was a real beast and I had so much fun! Unfortunately I couldn't convince my wife to come out and take pictures or a video so this is all I got... Desperately needed more weight in the back and this is all I could think of until my Ber-Vac weight bracket arrives in the mail. They are two Wheel Horse cast iron weights hanging off a long carriage bolt. Lasted all day without even bending the bolt!

stevasaurus 23,285 #5 Posted January 13, 2011 Life in a winter wonderland...great that it is only once in a while. Nice horse...a few more Christmas cookies and you would not need those weights. Great pictures Matt. :banghead:

mattd860 162 #7 Posted January 13, 2011 In all my 28 years ( ) I don't ever remember getting this much snow at one time. Go figure the first year I buy a home, we get the worst blizzard in 30 years. Glad I was prepared.
