Gasket for early 60 two piece aluminum gas tank?

Hi,

I am working on a 1962 or 63 lawn ranger. Is the gasket for the aluminum two piece gas tank still available, or do you folks make your own, or just use a sealant? If it is just a sealant, which type are you using? Both tanks that I took apart seemed to have a gasket and some sort of sealer on them.

Not sure if someone here sells them but I have seen them on ebay.

I just cut one out of some thick rubber/cork gasket material I had & it worked great.

The part # for the gasket is 4452, and it should be available from your Toro dealer, they are around $20.
