A whole load of stuff went for scrap today too, its pretty empty down the garden now (apart from all the wood!) Look forward to seeing the magazine! (If I'd known it'd be doing modelling on the way home I would have cut that bit of steel off the front for you!)
neil 2,398 #16 Posted January 16, 2011 Just to let you Know jim that i am delighted with commando 8 and i hope that you were happy with what you got. I find it really difficult to let something go that i have a fondness too. still i soppose it allows you to get on with other projects. Let me know if you ever decide to sell your last wheel horse with loader

Save Old Iron 1,563 #20 Posted January 16, 2011 Wow how did you do that thank you sooooo much SOI looks relly cool Much better without the fence You are most welcome Sir ! Guess that proves the statement sometimes you can't even believe what you see. Photo editing software has come a long way in the last few years. This was only a 10 minute effort. I'll spend more time on it tonight to get a few more things right. Maybe I can get the Heel Stones in the pic too. Can't call home without them ! The last time I was there, many decades ago, no fencing was present. Otherwise, it looks the same.
Anglo Traction 759 #21 Posted January 20, 2011 I heard someone had pinched he Fencing around Salisbury Plain !. Rumour has it that a squirrel was involved and the Sheep are dodging the traffic on the A303 :banghead:
Save Old Iron 1,563 #22 Posted January 20, 2011 I honestly have no clue where you guys get the idea that squirrels were involved. Attached Image
