Junior came home...

Met up with John (Brrly) today and picked up this pretty decent RJ-58... Thanks John, it was good to see you again!

It's gonna get a THOROUGH cleaning. Probably just repaint the wheels (maybe replace the fronts... Re: loaded with calcium), change all the fluids, etc...

That thing looks great. IMO if the plan is to just ride it around, there is no need to refill the fronts with anything other than air.

I agree... that's why I'm going to drain the calcium, asess the damage and probably end up replacing the front wheels.

Thanks guys, I sure am glad to have it. I already had a RJ58, but it was in pretty bad shape. This one replaced it and the other one went to live with a friend of mine. :banghead:

Looks like you found a great little resto project there. I've been looking for a nice, little round hood in as original condition as I can get it for awhile now too. Can't wait to discover mine hiding somewhere out there. Good luck with it.

Gotcha! I just re-read your original post and realized when you said "replace fluids" you ment the engine oil and tranny..... not the front tires :banghead:
