cpete1 331 #1 Posted January 8, 2011 Just installed a single stage blower on my 416-8. Had to fabricate a shoot rotater and also made up a "flag" as the original was missing. Thanks for the pictures by the way. My question is, which hole does the flag typically go in on the manual lift arm. There is one smaller hole (5/16s maybey) at the bottom then 2 above that are 3/8s. I thought the upper hole was for the cable going back to a clevis hitch. I put the flag in the upper hole as the effort decreased dramatically to lift the blower. I had the flag in the lower 3/8s hole but it took 2 hands to crank the thing up. I started fabricating a spring assist but in the upper hole its really not too bad. I would like to install a cable lift some day but don't want to lose the ease of lift with the blower. Thanks for all the pictures, it really helps. TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted January 8, 2011 The lift flag attaches in the top hole closest to the lift lever shaft. The rear lift cable attaches to the bottom hole.
