Forest Road 594 #1 Posted January 5, 2011 I finally got a chance to bring my 314-H and blower up north a few weeks ago. And as luck would have it we got nearly 24" of the white **** here in NJ. So back to NY for the New Year. With nature giving me the perfect opportunity to knock down a couple dead pines and dispose of them. My wife snapped a few pics. At least I got to put the 312-8 to work. It made cleanup a lot easier.

TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #3 Posted January 5, 2011 I know you know this - and I don't want to come off as being "mother hen", but be VERY careful pushing fire. I watched someone nearly lose an old JD dozer when it suddenly inhaled a charge of smoke and died. There isn't much oxygen in smoke , so - needless to say - it wouldn't start again. Luckily, he had his farm tractor close by and quickly pulled the dozer back out of the fire. Yes - you can move a a lot easier than a dozer, but better safe than sorry.
