Zaemo 0 #26 Posted January 7, 2011 Thanks Dwayne! Let me know if you have any weekday time off, I'll throw my 551 in the truck and come up. I started to wonder why the manual would recommend 50 thou. What is different from 1961 to today? Is it the fuel? Octane or lead or ethanol? Have the magnets demagnetized somewhat and need a little more advance? I have to imagine the spark plug is the same. as far as spitting oil goes.... I don't have a proper dipstick for this yet so I don't know where the level is. In what way is the baffle upside down?
