Clearing/moving snow we have the tools for...it was how to keep the surface safe afterwards that interested me. Your solution, using a saline solution through your very smart combo is yet another method (just wondering what the freezing point of the liquid is?). KC9KAS 4,741 #29 Posted January 7, 2011 Our area highway department sprays the "beet juice" (rim-gaurd) on the roads as a pretreatment.....This helps remove the snow & ice after it falls.
