HorseFixer 2,013 #51 Posted February 18, 2011 The Snow is all I know! I like my C Series the only thing better than a C-120 would be a 160. I will be test driving my 417 A once I swing the new engine in place. But am looking for a 520H for grins & giggles. Really don't need anything but the snow chucker on account of my front yard is 50 X 100 and rear is about 50 X 75 and mow with a Toro self paced super re-cycler I guess Ill use the 417 or 520 to roll my yard! or pull the Horse hauler to the street to hook up mto the stabbin cabin! jdpuller 2 #52 Posted February 18, 2011 Its gotta be a hydro with hydraulic lift hands down.
6wheeler 669 #53 Posted February 18, 2011 I like my C-165. It does garden work very well, plenty of power. But the thing I think is best about these WH's ? Tach a matic. I can plow the garden, unhook the plow and in a few minutes have the deck on and be mowing. Awesome. The only thing I'd change on mine is a 60" deck, I know it would handle it but I don't know if one would fit. Maybe if I put a 520 axle on it?
rjr 0 #54 Posted February 18, 2011 I loved my 1075 Hydro but hated the PTO. Gave it to my neighbor and bought a C101-8. Much better in most respects but can never seem to find the right gear. 3H to fast for mowing 2H a little to slow. Same with snow blowing except that I am in low range. Thought my left arm was going to be 2" longer than my right after the first snow storm this year. TWO helper springs cured that. Now I can lift the blower with 2 fingers. Aside from power to the wheels the biggest advantage of the 8 speed is that it doesn't cost $1200.00 to fix the pump.

HankB 16 #57 Posted February 22, 2011 I love my 314-H. Kind of the little brother to the 416-H and 520H already mentioned (by owners more knowledgeable than me.)
