tranders 0 #1 Posted December 25, 2010 Good morning and Merry Christmas. The problem I'm having with my Raider 10 is after working (pushing snow) the engine doesn't want to idle down. The linkage is moving freely. The only way to get it to idle down is slowly put a load on the engine, then it will idle back down. Thanks for the help. rmaynard 14,898 #2 Posted December 25, 2010 Have you checked to make sure that the governor linkage is tight and adjusted properly?

MikesRJ 552 #6 Posted December 25, 2010 T-Mo did a great job with a Kohler Carburetor Rebuild procedure. It may be useful to you: http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...etorRebuild.pdf
tranders 0 #7 Posted December 26, 2010 Thanks for all the advice. Heading out to the garage to start tinkering. Will let you know how it works out.
tranders 0 #8 Posted December 26, 2010 WooHoo... Fixed the problem. After double and triple checking all adjustments on carb with no change, I decided to swap out fuel pumps. Runs like a champ now. No hesitation on throttle up and idles back down normally. I'm not real happy the new pump is plastic, but heck it's running good. Thanks again for the help!
