Kelly 1,028 #1 Posted May 3, 2008 I picked this up at my local junk yard they saved it for me, It's a Bush hog V-4-7 it is powered by a wisconsin 7hp engine runs very good has variable speed with a creeper gear 4 speed. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet probably going on ebay or trade for??? WH stuff, I don't need another off breed to find parts for, but it drives very nice and is pretty stout for being one of the smallest they made, even came with wheel weights not sure if they are orig. to it or not. Anyone have any info on these??? here's pic's not bad for $
Dave 0 #2 Posted May 4, 2008 Not bad for the price. That seat needs some work though.
Rollerman 290 #3 Posted May 4, 2008 Kelly thats a nice find. Always been somewhat curious about the Bush Hog tractors...never seen one in person yet. Looks like your local junk yard may be a gold mine?
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #4 Posted May 4, 2008 That's a little different than the D-4-10 that I worked on about 10 years ago. It had a 10hp Wisconsin (model TRA-10D, I think ) that "blew up" and I remember the connecting rod cost $105! The engine on it was mounted with the crankshaft parallel to the frame and the flywheel faced to the front. (like the older Power Kings) Cool tractor, Kelly -- not too many around anymore either. :WRS:
Sparky-(Admin) 19,539 #5 Posted May 4, 2008 Hey Kelly. Cool lookin tractor! I like how the rear hitch is tied in with the lift arm. Mike...........
Kelly 1,028 #6 Posted May 5, 2008 The tow hitch, you can take it off and turn it around, to make it brinly style, that was thinking
