jaydeer 14 #1 Posted December 22, 2010 I was talking (listening) to my wife who suggested I reduce my collection to ten wheel horses. SO I thought why not ask what you would pick for your top ten. Here is mine for starters. 1. C195 - Great tractor for any work, especially mowing big yards 2. 520 - Another great mower 3. GT-14 - A small tank of a machine. 4. 1054 - GT-14 on a diet 5. c160 - big power in a c-series 6. 1045- Neat, some power and rare 7. Indy 500 - Same as above 8. 1277 - my pick d/t hydro and need a long frame 9. 603 - Neat machine 10. 1075 - Looks great with the engine compartment stuffed Sorry no RJ, just not a big fan of the smaller round hoods. Just another topic to waste time on waiting for the next PA snowfall to remove.

Don1977 605 #12 Posted December 22, 2010 I just have one but in the last 33 years it's been a C-120, C-160, and now it's a C-180. If I have it long enough it may become a C-200 or a C-230. Anything bigger I'll have to cut the hood like Kelly's Rat Rod. I do have one of those off brand Green ones in a farm tractor. I wonder what I could fit into a C-195 with a few hood modifications. Like a 4" hood lift and a hole for one of those commercial breathers. I would have 10 modified C-Series if I had 10 Wheel Horses.

zieg72 209 #14 Posted December 22, 2010 Fun question, since I have only 3 I get to buy 7 more.... Well since I use mine for working I would probably have 1 or 2 as parade tractors, I would have to hunt or make a 502 dually like bell sold and restore it like a shiny penny. I would have to find a 1986 420SLE in mint condition, that leaves 5 more. Next I would have to get a C-195 with the 3 point and FEL. I would also obtain a 520-8 and put a gear reduction steering/forward swept axle on it. 2 more 520H's to share the work load so I could have 1 dedicated winter worker with the winter cab hooked to a 2 stage blower, the other could plow in the winter/til in the spring and leave my current 520H for lawn duty. Definitely import a 512 just because... Maybe I will make a list for Santa and see how far that gets me :ychain:
