Shuboxlover 474 #1 Posted December 17, 2010 Now that I have it running, I have a couple people wondering if I would sell it. What would you guys ask for it, the 42"RD deck will go with it. I don't want to ask too much, but don't want to get short changed either....I would REALLY like to keep it, but I have my eye on something :ychain:
rickv1957 70 #2 Posted December 17, 2010 I would ask 5 or 600.00 imo,Rick

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,057 #5 Posted December 17, 2010 If I were selling it I would ask $750 but if I were buying I would pay $400. Does that make sense??

Coadster32 793 #7 Posted December 17, 2010 If I were selling it I would ask $750 but if I were buying I would pay $400. Spoken in true RS fashion. Sounds like Rick's answer will satisfy both sides of the coin. I tend to sell my stuff a bit on the lower side, (without taking a loss)..but then again, I don't have a problem with anything hanging around in my way either. Kelly 1,028 #8 Posted December 17, 2010 I agree, $500 - 600 and yes I would not pay that for it, but I have way to many so I don't need it, but to someone that wants or needs it, that would be a fair price.
Ken B 3,116 #9 Posted December 17, 2010 Only you know what you paid for it and only you know what you'd be comfortable with in letting it go. The ball is in your court. :ychain:
Trouty56 565 #10 Posted December 17, 2010 I really don't buy something I don't intend to keep. That is only because I have this terrible conscience that fights between 'am I ripping this guy off' or 'am I getting ripped off'. I don't like that feeling. There are a few of us out there like that. I would probably sell it for what I would pay for it. Stupid?? Yes, I guess to some. I guess what KenB said.... I guessi don't see anything wrong with rescuing a tractor from a guys back yard that's been sitting for a few years, putting a little money and sweat equity into it, then making a little money.... I figured I'd let someone else enjoy the pleasure of using this beast. Don't be jealous :D

Ken B 3,116 #15 Posted December 17, 2010 Here is another idea, don't put an asking price on it. List it at best offer and see what ya get.
