3spaniels 0 #8 Posted December 11, 2010 Well, here it is, nearly 5 a.m. They said 2"-4" overnight. So far, nuthin', zilch! Are we having another big build up of hype to stimulate the economy? I guess we will have to wait a little longer and see. :D
Docwheelhorse 2,740 #9 Posted December 11, 2010 3 Dogs???? @ 17 below I would bring in the whole sled team and pig pile with them!!! I like the idea of a foot of snow but not 17 below with 40 mph winds.... Man that is gonna be tough on the operator plus the Wheel Horse! Good Luck Tony

Operator 7 #12 Posted December 11, 2010 Nobody here has to go to work tomorrow. Just sit back and watch er snow! I wish. All I see is woods and a set of tracks backed off the road, I don't see anything else I remember those days, I use to do township roads plowing/sanding truck and a grader. Ya I miss it. Right now over here a good 5" of it and blowing good, forcasting 15" to 20" in my area here, Channel 4 weather though. Randy
rydogg 186 #13 Posted December 11, 2010 Only a couple inches here in the southern part of MN...hoping we don't get too much since I haven't had time to get the cab and snowthrower on the WH, I only have a C160 with a 48" blade and ag tires ready for now but if it starts to drift then I will probably have to use the Farmall I would rather use the horse though. We just moved less than a month ago and I am having trouble finding EVERYTHING!!!!!! No flag or liftbar yet but I did find the snowthrower and a couple sets of chains for the c series. I also picked up a blade for the 1055 and snowthrower for one of my round hoods I will probably use on the 633 so I don't have to worry about a dead battery. So many snow moving machines but only one is ready :D
stevasaurus 23,281 #14 Posted December 11, 2010 We are supposed to get 2-6" of this storm tomorrow during the Bears game. Should be a good one. Going out now to re push some of last weeks snow to make room for tomorrows. Come on snow..... :ychain:
3spaniels 0 #15 Posted December 11, 2010 Well, we are getting heavy snow finally. We sat in the dounut hole for quite awhile waiting for something to happen. After I get some grub I will go out and get a measurement. :ychain:

Confused99 2 #17 Posted December 11, 2010 I have already done my driveway once this morning. It is already snowed and drifted in. I would guess 10-12" on the ground. Still coming though. Supposed to end up with 18-20" or so depending on which channel you watch. The Raider and 2 stage are working awesome Did I mention I still don't have or need chains :ychain:

pumper.atv 26 #23 Posted December 11, 2010 We cant see accros the yard every time we go from the house to the shop you have to shovel a path due to the wind and drifts :ychain:
3spaniels 0 #24 Posted December 11, 2010 It is hard to know what or where to measure with the wind speed so high. Still have heavy snowing. East winds, so more to come. My guess would be 14+" at this time. The Metro TV just mentioned that it is the most snow since the imfamous 1991 Halloween Blizzard and may surpass it. Clearing the driveway is futile at this point out in the country tonite. So, I guess I will see how the starts in the minus teens tomorrow. Keep the firewood handy and gas in the generator. Power went out three times this morning before it got to snowing. :ychain:
Operator 7 #25 Posted December 11, 2010 As of 4:00 pm we have 15 on the ground and still coming down Got the Bobcat ready to go with winter outfit of front door side windows and heater all checked. Got the cab put on the 520 . And I haven't plowed anything yet, They have pulled our county plows off the road [we don't have state plows]. Beautiful weather! Great. Thanks for the grader pictures too! Two of you work together? I see two blades. Randy
