BairleaFarm 340 #1 Posted April 30, 2008 Kinda hard to search for the term "wheel" it seems to be used all the time on this site What is the bolt pattern on the rear of my tractor? will all the wheel horse or other garden tractors interchange? I know the height and width may be different but the bolt pattern is all im really wanting to know.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,882 #2 Posted April 30, 2008 I don't know the exact bolt pattern, but it is pretty standard. What isn't standard however is the offset. Most any C-Series, 300, 400, 500 series wheel will fit your tractor and should be easy to find. A JD wheel may fit the bolt pattern as well, but the offset may be incorrect, something to watch out for.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #3 Posted April 30, 2008 The " common majority" of the 5 lug bolt patterns have a 4.5" diameter "circle". (including yours) If your tractor is they way I remember them, it has longer axle shafts than a garden tractor with the 12" rear wheels. This was done because the 8 and 10 inch rear wheels were about a 50/50 offset. If you install "full offset" 12" wheels (about 2" backspacing) on your tractor, half (or more) of the tire will stick out from under the fender.

I have the same tractor like in your avator '73 8 HP 4-Speed on the rear bolt pattern takes the 3/4" larger Lug Bolts to keep the 20x8.00-10 rear wheels on the hubs . TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted April 30, 2008 the rear bolt pattern takes the 3/4" larger Lug Bolts to keep the 20x8.00-10 rear wheels on the hubs . Ben The hubs are still drilled & tapped 7/16"- 20 though. You can use a "standard" wheel bolt with a 5/8" hex to install 12" wheels on those hubs. (the 3/4" hex bolts will also work)

Kelly 1,033 #7 Posted April 30, 2008 Same as small Ford car or Ranger pickup and some Chy. and AMC's
KyBlue 655 #8 Posted May 1, 2008 Should be the same as a Ranger or S10. I know the Ranger is a 5x4.5 I think the S10 was too. Also some trailer rims are that size.
Kelly 1,033 #9 Posted May 1, 2008 S-10's are not right and will not fit
