Not sure what your Pulley originates from?. The Engine Drive Pulley you need is part #7466. you can see an image of it on this Thread http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=22463

You will need the correct Pulley if you've ordered your other PTO parts by Part Number.

The belt guard goes behind the PTO bracket. That may be your trouble.

It's the old-style PTO engagement style, Don.

There is no top bracket, just the stand-off bracket that bolts to the lower front hole on the block.

@ftlboy717:

Is that a one inch diameter crankshaft? If it is, you'll need the engine pulley for (but not limited to) a B-60/80 or one of the Briggs powered GT's with a gear drive tranz.

If it's 1 1/8" diameter, most of the 4" 10hp & up Kohler pulleys from 1968 & up should work.

You'll need the corresponding bearing race for the PTO pulley too.

Looks like you'll also have to relocate that gauge on the side of the hoodstand.

This image of my original Raider 12 Engine should explain what Terry is describing and indeed there is no upper bracket on it.

Also I notice that the Transplanted 14hp Crankcase has a different profile on the PTO side.

With the correct pulley, it will enable everything to fit with the normal Running Clearances. I suspect the current setup didn't work too well either, as the Belt is below the profile of that Pulley and the Belt Guard Tabs would just run on the Pulley!, it also look's a larger diameter ?.

Let us know your progress in resolvng the problem.

P.S. I would aso recommend routing your Fuel Pipe around the Flywheel side of the Engine , as it will likely Burn through or at least give you Vapour Lock problems. Check this out if you need any pictorial guidance-
