Thanks for sharing. :)

I need to decide if I am done with leaf sweeping, and if so put the chains on...

After "snowmegeddon" last year, I expect this year we'll have nothing here in the DC area. Sadly last year the blade and the blower were both still back in OH!

We shall see.

Excellent stills and video...........However, the driveway shots look EXACTLY like where I moved away from in North NJ 10 years ago! EXACTLY....right down to the wood pile!

Talk about Deja Vu!..............I need another drink, now I'm freezing and having flashbacks of sno/ice falling down my neck and freezing toes, and itchy burning feet from almost frostbite and a runny nose and nights spent in the shed with the salamander bringing tears to my eyes trying to get them dam Kohlers started and the snow blowers de-iced and the chains hooked up...........fingers that won't move no more, pant's frozen stiff over two sets of long underwear and woolen socks over thermal socks over sweat socks

whoops, musta been a bad dream........................

sorry, back to the pool and ask that girl in the bikini to bring me another pina-colada please

but thank you for reminding me of what (at the time) was a wonderful experience..brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ps:

(Note to self... Ask wife to shoot video for me.

Hey Ed,

I really enjoyed your post! Some times I think about the weather near Chicago "We really appreciate the nice days because we understand how bad it can get." But a little snow doesn't bother me. quite the opposite. But I layer heavily to stay warm.

We've been to AZ and I gotta say, weather wise it's a little like out of the frying pan into the fire. In September, every day we were there the high in Phoenix went over 100° F. :) We went to the Desert Botanical Garden (or something like that.) My wife went to get a drink from one of the many drinking fountains and scalded her mouth. We got to the fountain before we passed the sign that warns you to allow the water to run for 10 seconds before you drink! It's a beautiful area and we really enjoyed our visit but - and no offense intended - I'll take the snow!

best,

hank

PS: We get to plow this AM!

HAHA that sounds WAY TOO FAMILIAR.

Only thing thats different is that this was last week.

Drained the battery down to squat in the C-145 just to get it started to test my new belt. (For some reason they crank slow when its cold?? Couldn't be the fact that theres practically maple syrup in the crankcase?? i.e. 30W)

Its going to snow this week and heres what it comes down to,

I have the C-145 (Which I was going to restore) now going to be my winter worker, while the 416-8 sits in the garage because it uses a gallon a minute and the regulator is bad...

I love winter.

I also love the winter!

I 416-8, I thoroughly enjoy it since he has very good grip on his tires so I do not have to use snow chains I hope you are well inorde c-145 and let the snow come but I'd say

ps: I hope you send pictures if you are working

good luck

long live america

:ychain: :D
