WH Raider10 17 #1 Posted November 30, 2010 Hi everybody, The other day I drained and flushed the oil out of my transaxle. It's a 4 speed and now I'm wondering how much litres of oil goes in it. Any comment would be verry helpfull! Pieter-Jan
rmaynard 16,589 #2 Posted November 30, 2010 I believe your transmission takes the equivalent of 2 Qts. US. However, you don't want to overfill it. Does it have a dipstick? If so, start with 1-1/2 Qts. US and check the level. Top it off slowly until it hits the full mark. Bob
WH854 45 #3 Posted November 30, 2010 In USA it would take 3 Pints or Quart and 1/2 on my 4 speed there is no dip stick. I filled it through the shift lever hole. Chas

WH Raider10 17 #5 Posted November 30, 2010 Hi,my transaxle has no dipstick. There is a little filler plug on the left side in the back. How many litres is 3 pints?
WH854 45 #6 Posted November 30, 2010 I think it would be 1.419 litres Chas
Forest Road 594 #7 Posted November 30, 2010 First off did you drain the fluid from the plug under the the axle? If yours has the plug hanging off the rear w/ a short extension your set. Remove the plug. Fill it till the fluid is @ the top of that little extension pipe. And you should be done. 1 1/2 to 2 quarts Gear lube .
