jrk 0 #1 Posted November 30, 2010 Hello All, I'm currently working on restoring an old Brinley Plow and was hoping you all could share some pictures and helpful hints on how to sharpen the share properly and what kind of condition the moldboard itself should be in i.e. polished, painted, rusty ... doesn't really matter I just machined a new turnbuckle for the plow and will be working on the coulter next (machining a fixed holder) but I'm a little unsure of what to do with the share. It's an older design Brinley and I dont remember off the top of my head if the share is removable (it's raining outside and cold here in Indiana). Here is a picture of the plow that's identical to mine: Brinley Plow After this is done I will be fabricating an adapter from the factory sleeve hitch to the sleeve hitch ... so stay tuned Thanks for your help in advance.

jrk 0 #3 Posted November 30, 2010 Kelly - That is exactly what I plan on fabbing up next. That looks great by the way. Do you have any detailed measurements / drawings on how you made it? Thanks
