Air pressure

Just curious as to what tire pressure you guys run in the summer and winter. I run 12lbs. psi in the summer, 20lbs. psi in the winter on rear ag tires. This will be the first year i run ag tires on the front in the winter time. curious to know what works best front and rear/ summer and winter, for both ag and turf tires.

I'm kinda like you Brian...I run them a little flat for the traction...but enough air that my weight doesn't show.

I will adjust the air so the blade sets straight on level concrete for snow removal. :thumbs:

I did get rid of all the filled tires this last year, and fixed the rusted rims...tubes in everything and new tires on some...really looking for snow to tell if I did good. :thumbs:

I know, but the book doesnt show what it's like in the winter with ag tires all the way around. I would like to go for a little more in the front for traction, but i dont want to get carried away... Same for the rear, mine are rated for 22lbs. psi max.(rear) Has anyone went that far and had better results?

Took my ags off the back, left them on the front, put on my turfs plus chains then put in 25#. Nice tight chains!

I think you've got that backwards, 12 in the front, 8 in the rear.

I've never used ags in the snow, but on my turfs I run the factory pressures. I have run 6 on the rear and it worked well, but it's hard to tell if it was the tire pressure or the type of snow that day.

Softer presures will give you more grip.
