squonk 42,881 #1 Posted November 25, 2010 I'm trying to find a source for tri rib tires for my 704. The size is: 4.80x4.00x8. I've looked at Millers,Tires unlimited and a few others and haven't found any. This is basically a show tractor. The most work it will do is pull a wagon around. I've thought I'd seen pictures on here of roundhoods with these tires on them somewhere here. Anyone have a source or recommend another size that will work? TT-(Moderator) 1,152 #3 Posted November 25, 2010 Tucker Tire listing on eBay If it's over before you get there, he has more. Hopefully they're the better Deestones and not GBC (Greenball) brand. I have received both brands from him - so you might want to ask first before buying any. He also has the 3.50 X 8 size - which might look better on the mid-engine tractors. TT-(Moderator) 1,152 #6 Posted November 25, 2010 other than looks do they work any better, ive never had a pair . If they're used for what they are designed - which is soft ground / dirt, the answer is yes. Otherwise, it's more for looks.

Sarge 3,464 #11 Posted November 25, 2010 I see on that European tires site there is a sawtooth in a 5.70-8 size that mimicks the oem front steer tires- V49 / V7516 in the Industrial section....hmm. Sarge
HorseFixer 2,013 #12 Posted November 25, 2010 I like them also, I got mine from Morrow's and ordered a couple sets because he charges same amount shipping for multiple sets. When you get them they are all crunched down and lopsided, so just put tube inside & inflate this straightens them out. I keep mine that way in storage.
