rustbucket 4 #1 Posted April 27, 2008 Me and my dad instaled all the parts the stator and new trigger and also tinkered and mountain boy wired the ignition system seeing as how the main key ignition wont work rusted solid. after a spurt of either and a new battery it breathed its first breaths in a good long time. I'll tell you it roared. Jason R. PA

rustbucket 4 #4 Posted April 27, 2008 all i can say is that the prior owner was nice enough to keep it with fresh oil and fluids even though it sat for several years. the drive tow lever is in tow right now and we will work on the rest of the machine soon we where just focused on getting the engine working. jason
refracman 167 #5 Posted April 28, 2008 Little late to say but Welcome rustbucket You have a fine tractor with the GT14, got me a few of them and i work'em like I stole'em. Just be sure the you dont try to start it when theres water in the blower houseing our you'll fry the trigger again, been there done that, best thing is not to wash it or let it set out side in the rain with out being covered up Again
rustbucket 4 #6 Posted April 28, 2008 thank you for the welcomes and i intend not to let the horse sit out in pasture during rain storms or anything other then nice clear sky weather but i will run her hard once she is up and running. rustbucket 4 #7 Posted May 4, 2008  IT ROLLED UNDER ITS OWN POWER!!!!!! we took the deck off cause it was in float mode and the lift lower lever for the hydro is broken off. once the deck was off we started her up and i placed the lever in the direction you all told me to on the trans and she rolled without any issues under her own power. WOOT!!!! my dad even did a few victory laps around the house with her. Jason.
