Jim_M 179 #2 Posted April 27, 2008 Karl, The cup holder didn't come with the tractor, but I like to have a cold beverage handy on a hot day..... It is a genuine Wheel Horse part though. It comes standard on the the new 315-8 Classic tractors. Once I saw one I had to have it. It fits perfectly on the 300,400 and 520 fenders. I'm putting one on the 520 next. I don't like to drill holes in a perfectly good fender, so I glue them on with clear silicone, so far it's stayed on very well and I'ven bumped it pretty hard a couple of times. I looked back at the picture and had to go out to the shed and look. The button is missing. I'll have to get one. Wonder when that fell off? Jim
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #3 Posted April 28, 2008 The only thing I would have done differently was put it on the left side away from a side discharge chute.
Jim_M 179 #4 Posted April 28, 2008 The only thing I would have done differently was put it on the left side away from a side discharge chute. Terry, I tried it there first, I was thinking the same thing, but it just wasn't comfortable for me and also didn't fit right. I'm right handed and also I usually get on and off the tractor from the left side, so the drink holder just works out better for me on the right side, plus it was molded for the right side fender. Rollerman 290 #5 Posted April 28, 2008 It's a handy peice & looks much better than the Horses I've brought home with the hood mounted drink holder/beer foamer right ahead of the steering wheel. This may have been just an option along with an HL-6 light kit....
