LeonardS 0 #1 Posted November 22, 2010 I am going to make plans to attend a show next Summer. What show has the most tractors for sale? I am hoping to buy 2-3 RJ's and/or Suburbans since I have had little luck finding them in Iowa. Thank you for the advice! Leonard

LeonardS 0 #3 Posted November 22, 2010 The WH Show in Pa. In June. Your location would help... Look at the bottom of my post. Ankeny, Iowa. I know I am going to need to drive to Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and I am OK with that. Leonard
smokin joe 31 #4 Posted November 22, 2010 Are you looking for restoration tractors or runners?I may be able to help..
LeonardS 0 #5 Posted November 22, 2010 Joe, I would like complete tractors and I would prefer them to need restoration. Restoring them is what I enjoy! Older restorations would also be acceptable. What do you have? You can email me at Lstevenson@thomasamerican.com Leonard
GlenPettit 1,717 #6 Posted November 22, 2010 Leonard: Keep a watch on the Classifieds here ; For Sale and also list under Wanted. Often times people can deliver your purchased tractor to one of the shows you and they might be attending, saves you milage. Was a lot of Wheel Horse tractors and RJ's for sale at the Michigan Show last August, next is August 5 & 6, 2011 in Charlotte, Michigan (South of Lansing, off I-69), 3+ hours East of Chicago. The Pennsylvania Show is June 24 & 25, 2011. Glen

LeonardS 0 #11 Posted November 23, 2010 Leonard there in your area, I have got offers from people that want to get rid of them, one just a month ago, just to far to drive for me Well, they are sure keeping themselves a secret. I have seen one RJ35 in the last 6 months, and it was sold within minutes of posting. That is the only RJ or Suburban that I have even seen come up for sale. If you know of someone in Iowa wanting to get rid of their old Wheel Horses, please let me know!! Leonard
grnlark 489 #12 Posted November 23, 2010 The WH Show in Pa. In June. To be honest, I was disappointed with the selection of 'for sale' tractors this year - as far as RJ's and Suburbans go. There were a few 35's for sale in the barns in the back that looked like they came off the Titanic and the prices were rediculous. The best deal there (IMO) was DaveB's and that sold quick. Nothing else really to write home about. Keep a close eye on CL!
