dirty larry 0 #1 Posted November 22, 2010 can anyone help me I just got my hands on a old girl ,i think it's a suburban 550 from 1960 my trouble is that it has Wisconsin.Robin engine in it i my self have never heard tail of this engine ? the tractor is rough but i'll work at it i wish i could pin a picture up but not just yet anway any help would be great Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've had one for years the only two things I had trouble with it is the carburetor bowl rusting and the fitting with the strainer in the gas tank. The tank fitting was screw up in the tank so far that it would run out of gas with about 1" of gas left in the tank. I don't now how many times I had the carburetor off before I found the cause. I now turn the gas off and let it run until it stops. They are hard to find parts for so I adapted a 5 HP Briggs air filter on mine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
