Actonhorse 26 #1 Posted November 22, 2010 I am looking at a 48" snow plow for my 1067. Can anyone tell me that it will fit? I have looked through the various threads and I believe I have a long frame tractor and the blade is a long frame. I believe it will fit but I just want to confirm before I waste my money. MikesRJ 558 #2 Posted November 22, 2010 The 6-4111 42" Dozer Blade was the recommended model, although the 48" Dozer Blade should work as well. If you have the model number or a picture of the blade you intend to use, that would be a big help.
Actonhorse 26 #3 Posted November 22, 2010 I believe it is a 79262, 48".
MikesRJ 558 #4 Posted November 22, 2010 79262, 42" Snow Thrower, not a 48" Snow Plow , as you stated. If that is the case, and you are looking at a 42" Snow Thrower, it will work with the correct completing kit (mounting brackets and associated hardware), but may be a bit too large for the 10hp engine to handle. I believe the ST-376 37" Snow Thrower (Requires 83112 completing kit) was the recommended snow thrower model for your tractor.
Actonhorse 26 #5 Posted November 22, 2010 My appologies, 79252. I have seen alot of numbers today, they got jumbled! My tractor has a K321 (14hp) in it so I believe it will handle the push but it is the hook up I am thinking about.
MikesRJ 558 #6 Posted November 22, 2010 You should be fine as far as power goes. There are a few pieces you will need verify with the seller and make sure they are included, or at least realize you will need to acquire them in order to attach it to your tractor. Rear axle mounting brackets come to mind immediately. Go to this link on the Toro site and enter the number you last gave me. The Owners and Part manuals are available. https://homeownersolutions.toro.com/portal/...ct_center/30034
Actonhorse 26 #7 Posted November 22, 2010 Thanks Mike, I will see what he has for mounting. Do you know if the mounts for my tractor will be the same as the parts diagram from the link you sent me or if I will have to find the mounts for my specific tractor? Actonhorse 26 #8 Posted November 22, 2010 I think I just answered my own question. I checked the manual for the 6-4111 blade and I see the mounting bracket I will need.
