btrrg1969 11 #7 Posted November 21, 2010 I hate to ask because I feel stupid but I dont know anything about your tractor ,where is the gas tank ? Is that it in front of the motor?
Pollack Pete 2,273 #8 Posted November 21, 2010 I hate to ask because I feel stupid but I dont know anything about your tractor ,where is the gas tank ? Is that it in front of the motor? Yup....gas tank is in front of the engine. These were built years before everyone became so law-suit happy. Two of my GT-14's are 1969 and the cast iron grille is open in the front leaving the front of the plastic tank un-protected.Watch out for sharp tree branches and anything else that could puncture the tank. hoppy 0 #9 Posted November 21, 2010 "i thought you guys in CT said there were no tractors"........................it isnt a round hood if your refering to the latest post.Plenty of wheel horses around. its the old round hoods that seem to be few and far between in the state.
