whfan74 2,071 #1 Posted November 14, 2010 Came across this beauty on Craigslist here recently and went and picked it up after Denny picked up the RJ 58 from me. It was nice to know the gentleman didn't know what he had or it would have probably would have still been at his house. It has one small pin hole of rust through and will get restored hopefully this winter. If I am not mistaken, as I don't know a whole lot about the trailers, this is the first model of Wheel Horse trailer which is the LTD 24. The tires hold air, the chain is still attached for the dump mechanism. Loaded it up in the truck and smiled all the way home. Here it is.............. Let's just say I spent more in gas to go get it than I did in the price of the trailer.

Brrly1 1,146 #6 Posted November 14, 2010 Scott, its looks good. I got out the manuals to look. I checked them out for a short time and I have a ltd-242. Basically about the same condition. I have been pondering doing a restore but then again thinking about leaving in the same condition as I found it. Good find, for sure. See Ya, Bye Burly :)
whfan74 2,071 #7 Posted November 14, 2010 Thanks Denny and John! Just was really glad to have found it before some serious rust started taking over. I wish it was a little smoother or I would leave it original. This one has a pretty rough surface so it's time to take care of it and get it all sealed up. :)
Gene_S 93 #8 Posted November 15, 2010 Very cool find Scott... You didn't by any chance pick that up over by Huntington did you? I've had my eyes on one setting next to a pole barn that I spoted a month ago.
whfan74 2,071 #9 Posted November 15, 2010 Nope Gene I don't get over that way. So the one you have been eyeballing is still there. This one came from up north of there.
