rear axle

the inside of the wheel hub is rubbing aginst the out side of the gear case where the axle comes out is there supposed to be any clearance there? i seen that when i was washing off the grease. thats on a raider 10

No it shouldn't be rubbing' and yes there should be some clearance.

first check to see if your hub is tight and not sliding on the axle.

and make sure you don't have excessive in and out play on the axle.

you can pull the hub out some to give you some clearance

I think that the face of the hub and axle should be flush with eack other. That will put the setscrew right over the woodruff key.

Yes what Sparky said is a good genral rule to go by, pull the hub so it is flush to the end of the axle, and check the set screw every so often.
