Dave 0 #1 Posted April 25, 2008 Does anyone have a source for motor mounts for a C81? Mine are about gone.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #2 Posted April 25, 2008 Dave, They come up from time to time on ebay. But, I would wonder about their condition. I needed a set for my C-141 a couple months back and I just went to the dealer and order a set. They were about $16 each at that dealer and the other local dealer wanted about $19 each for them. Dave 0 #3 Posted April 25, 2008 My "local dealer" is several hours away and won't reply to messages left about Wheel Horses... at least that's the dealer that put their sticker on the back of the seat. NAPA seems to have some small engine parts. I wonder if they could find something. With something like motor mounts, I'd like to go new. I wouldn't trust anything used or on Ebay. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #4 Posted April 25, 2008 In the links section here, there are a couple of links for OEM parts that you could order them from. http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=toro_consumer&mh=8 http://www.sepw.com/Default.aspx?gclid=CL_...CFQlQWAodcRrtEw http://www.milacalawn.com/parts.asp I think the second one above had the best prices on those mounts. Dave 0 #5 Posted April 25, 2008 Thanks. I just wish I had a part number. Is that in the repair manual? That second link wouldn't work. The site wants you to be using Internet Explorer and I don't use that program.
C-Series14 15 #6 Posted April 25, 2008 If you are talking about the isolation mounts, the part number is 106441. Only used on the C-81 and C-111. If you have your VIN, you can look up part numbers on the Toro website...I got the part number from the parts manual that I ordered from Toro...
Dave 0 #7 Posted April 26, 2008 Thanks, now I got some part numbers, and some sites to check out. Now I just need the time to fix the thing. I'll be ordering that parts manual too.
baerpath 517 #8 Posted April 26, 2008 If you can get by with used, You pay the shipping and I'll send ya 4 good used ones. I pull them out and use steel mounts in their place. Duane

I'll email you for details. With the new ones costing $60+, used is more within my meager budget. I didn't think little bits of rubber would cost so much.
