TerryJW 0 #1 Posted November 8, 2010 Hi all, I have a 605 and need an engine for it. I believe at one time it had a H60 Tecumseh on it. Could someone tell me what engines would fit this tractor and are the H60 Tecumseh hard to find and if so what could I use to replace it. Any help much appreciated. Kelly 1,028 #3 Posted November 9, 2010 A 8hp kohler will bolt right in, and much easier to find in good shape, only things you will need to change is the drive belt guard (or modifiy it) the choke and throttle cables, and wiring, it really is a easy swap.
