Mower deck ??????????????

Recommended Posts

I only have one good deck and it came with my 1969 Charger 12. Can I use that deck on my C-175 without having to put the modern deck hardware on it? My charger is disassembled for restoration and I want to keep the original deck for it. But like I said it's the only good deck I have. Thanks.

Nope as far as I know you will need the mid mount tach a matic deck. I think it started in 73 or 74

I should've mentioned that the deck will mount to the tractor. I guess I need to know if I can use the front mule drive or if I have to pull the pully and brackets off the Charger.

I am confused now. Are you sure it will mount on the newer machine? Was the Charger changed over to the mid mount at some point? Pics will help a bunch

OK, this is the only pic I have right now. I can get more tomorrow. It dosen't use a front mule drive on the charger. The belt comes off the PTO to an idler pully on the side of the mid mount, the tensioner is on the deck.

As far as I can see that deck will not fit the newer tractor.

I have to agree with Stevebo, that is not an 80's deck !

I know it's not an 80's deck. It's a late 60's deck from a 69 Charger 12. I want to use the 60's deck on my early 80's trator.
