nylyon-(Admin) 7,882 #1 Posted April 22, 2008 It was so nice today, I decided it was time for the first official lawn cutting. First up was the 414-8 with the side discharge. As usual, it started right up and mowed excellent. For the trim up work, the 416 with the recycler oh how I love that tractor. All the time, I was thinking that I can't wait to give the lawn a little C-160 time too. No pictures today, maybe tomorrow I have to clean these guys up, don't want to show anyone dirty tractors

Stigian 1,234 #5 Posted April 23, 2008 I did my 3rd or is 4th cut of the year yesterday, well half of a cut, finish it today if the rain stays away I also did a bit of trimming along the bank of the stream It may not look to be at much of an angle, but with the stream bank dropping away sharply 2 feet from where i was cutting, it was quite scary
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,610 #6 Posted April 23, 2008 Karl, Pics of dirty horses are good also. That way we catch them in "work" mode. Ian, Man, that is a heavy patch to cut. Be sure you know where that bank is.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,882 #7 Posted April 23, 2008 I can't post pictures of a dirty 416-H, not after seeing Eldon's freshly painted 416, I got some waxing to do........ Eldon, yep I'm looking forward to the C-160. I enjoied running around on the C-120, except the smoke and rod noise made me nervous so I had to stop. It'll be really great to get on a good running C-160 to mess around on.
mailman 1 #8 Posted April 23, 2008 Hey Karl, It just occured to me that Eldon can enjoy your tractor AND mine! I am just about to put the mower deck on my 315-8 Classic and was thinking about what I could do with the C-100 Eldon is holding for me. I'm sure you are about as anxious to get your hands on the C-160 as I am to get on the C-100. Oh well, as they say.......Patience is a virtue. And yep, lets see those pics. ....dirty or not. Stigian 1,234 #9 Posted April 23, 2008 Ian, Man, that is a heavy patch to cut. Be sure you know where that bank is. Dont worry Terry, the edge of the bank is a few feet away from where i was cutting I also only cut one tractor width of nettle down, the thought of cutting a second width that close to water was enough to scare me off doing it :D
