pumper.atv 26 #1 Posted October 31, 2010 :) Does anyone have a picture of an original tie rod for the RJ mine is all bent and want to make a new one :wh:
MikesRJ 552 #2 Posted October 31, 2010 I have one available but won;t be able to get a picture until Nov. 6. The rod is simply a 1/4" straight rod with the ends bent at a 30 degree difference. If no one comes up with dimensions for you, I'll post them next week.
VinsRJ 721 #4 Posted November 1, 2010 I might have one in stock. If its not that that bad you can heat them up with a torch to straighten them out. I've had some real bent up ones come out mint.

TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #7 Posted November 1, 2010 By using the above picture (and perhaps your existing drag link), you should be able to center the steering gears and set the front wheels straight to get a hole-to-hole measurement. That should be all you need.
sorekiwi 761 #8 Posted November 1, 2010 I'd do it just like Terry suggested. I cant give you a dimension, that tractor doesnt live here anymore.
MikesRJ 552 #9 Posted November 1, 2010 The rod is simply a 1/4" straight rod with the ends bent at a 30 degree difference. It's 3/8" rod not 1/4" Absolutely! I stand corrected.
