c-195 dozer blade on a D series??

Has anyone used a C-195 dozer blade on a D series? There is a 56" C-195 blade for sale locally and I was wondering if it would be a direct fit on my D-180.

I know the model numbers for the blades for the C-195 and D series are different but I cannot tell if the blades have different model numbers for just minor differences or if there are significantly differences.

Anyone have any experience?

I 'm sure I have seen posts about the D blade fitting the 195 but I haven't read anything about the 195 fitting the D. This will be interesting!!

i belive the a frame is differant a 195 is the same as the other tractors and the d series has the differant one on it

The frame on a C-195 is just a little different than other classics as is the mid lift. The rear plow hitch on the 195 is the same as a D. I assume it should work either way at worst if its not a direct fit it cant take much to make it work.

Havent even looked yet but i plan to mount a D blade on my C-195.

Very good seeing you again too. I enjoyed the trip to VT and the trip back was just fine.

Hope you enjoy the Banana Nut - It is a proprietary recipe so I hope you like it.

I will get some photos once I get that bad boy on the D-180.
