Forest Road 594 #1 Posted October 29, 2010 Hi guys. I just picked up a 520. THe manual calls for a couple different oil viscosities. I usually run 10w30 in my Kohlers. I've never been a fan of chanig the oil for the seasaon. ANd the machine probably wont see 20 hours a year. I'm grading the driveway, pulling trees and bruch and snow blowing. It'll never see a mower deck.
Horse Fanatic 51 #2 Posted October 30, 2010 Straight 30 in the summer and 5-30 in the winter. I would personally change it for the season, oil isn't that expensive and engines are.
