It's election season! Don't forget to vote!

I say vote the sum bit@h out of office!

When Jam Dawg (my son) was knee high to a beer bottle!

We raced go-karts and they pitched the governors in the dirt!

It's been along time I can't rember, but we had a speical linkage

on the carb, and disabled the governor!Don't know if this is a good idea?

Engines ran on alcohol that makes them run cooler! How they stay alive?

Can you boot out the governor for short runs like... well... Drag Racing?

I know ya' can't over rev these small engines or they'll kick out a rod!

3000, 3500 rpm w/ splash lube? Kabang! poof! Errrrtt! Is it over?

Devistation Inc.!

RULES Better update them T-Mo...

This forum is for the enjoyment of Wheel Horse Tractors. Hope you find it informative and fun. We have a couple of guidelines to keep RedSquare fun for everyone.

Please post plenty of pictures of your tractor. We love pictures. If your tractor is not in the gallery, please add it. It really helps get a visual of all the horses offered.

We are a friendly group, please do not resort to personal attacks on the forum, keep your posts family friendly. We are family friendly and my kids read many of the posts so keep it clean. Members who continue to poke fun, provoke or otherwise disrupt the forum will be banned

This forum is for Wheel Horse tractors, not for political discussions. There are a ton of things in the world, politics, oil prices, immigration and such, none of which involve Wheel Horse tractors. There are other forums for these discussions so if you need to discuss these items please find the appropriate forum to join.

Please refrain from the use of Slang and "Text Talk", it's too difficult to keep up with all the current sayings plus we have members from other countries where these sayings or slang aren't there. Treat members as you wish to be treated.

He's talking about the gov. on a engine, and not a good idea to remove the gov. the flywheel can come apart at RPM's above 3600 it may not the first or the tenth time but it only takes one time to ruin your day or kill someone.

Horse Rancher

yes you can turn these things loose but with the proper parts

we run billet flywheels and billet connecting rods monster cams

heavy valve springs ours in a pull will sing 7,000 rpm on the tach

I have a friend with a command v-twin that makes

78 hp at 9200rpm on the dyno for more check out midwest

super cub, vogel manufacturing, lakota racing and many

others for kohler performance parts

That's right Kelly you read between the lines.

I was thinkin' of removeing a gov. on a stock engine!

Your answer seals the deal, not goinna' pull the pin on a grenade!

Wanted some input before I go "Flirtin' with Desaster"!

Horse Rancher, 78hp & 9200rpm! on a v-twin that's spinnin'!

Thank you for the info!

When I was a kid, we used to bypass the governors all the time for mini bikes and gocarts. They were usually little briggs motors, I think. We would beat the crap out of 'em but never had one explode. Good thing, I could've lost a right nut or something. We never thought about it or knew any better for that matter. Lucky nothin ever happened.
